Contemporary Sculpture at the Museum of Modern Art
At the Museum of Fine Arts in Marseille, come and discover the work of Tamar Hirschfeld from this weekend until April 23, 2023. The contemporary artist, since 2020, at the International Center for Glass and Plastic Arts in Marseille (Cirva) exhibits the “bestiary of objects”, banal everyday objects, body fragments. His unusual universe intrigues and reviews glass from every angle. A certainly interesting exhibition that invites you to stroll through the grounds of the Longchamp park.

Jane Birkin at the Theater des Salins
Jane Birkin’s sensitive and poetic little voice is in the spotlight at the Théâtre des Salins in Martigues this Saturday evening. It was the singer Étienne Daho, eager to discover this hidden talent, who convinced her to record her lyrics from the same piece she had written 20 years earlier. From this collaboration was born an album, a project directed by Étienne Daho and Jean-Louis Piérot which testifies to the sensitivity of this outstanding artist.

Understanding NFTs at the Granet Museum
If you’re from Aix, the museum is nearby, but if you’re from Marseille or Ciotadins, then take advantage of this cold and sunny Sunday to take a trip to Aix-en-Provence. The Granet Museum, in the city center, offers a current exhibition on NFTs in art. A way to understand the challenges of web 3 and blockchain, decentralized data in the art and their regulatory framework which is gradually being established. Eight non-fungible tokens (NFTs) will be released at the exhibition, each a custom-made work related to the Granet museum collections. A 1/2 version goes to the museum, the 2/2 version to the artist who will have it and whose sale will be announced from January 20 on the OBJKT platform (platform belonging to the French blockchain Tezos, reference in the contemporary art world, partner of Art Basel in particular). This exhibition project is initiated as part of the cultural biennale of the 5th season of Aix-en-Provence.

Try the Italian restaurant Tripletta on the Cours Julien
Notre-Dame-du-Mont church is overlooked by the small terrace. From the outside, the restaurant doesn’t look like much. You have to climb inside to be won over: the large bar with lighting, the verandah, the clothes hanging from the ceiling… The restaurant is long with several well arranged wooden tables. Small alcoves have been dug into the walls to display paintings, photos or a statue of the Italian Virgin. The pizzas are especially breathtaking. The Neapolitan dough is crispy and the flavors are not insignificant: pumpkin, chili, tuna… Let yourself be tempted by a glass of wine that comes exclusively from Italy! You will be disoriented (but not too much) and most of all you will have a good time!
Count 30 euros for a glass of wine, a plate, a desert and a coffee.
