BOURGOGNE-FRANCHE-COMTÉ: Live truck adventure stages

The colorful truck represents agricultural education in all its diversity: environment, farming, agricultural equipment, food, personal services…

Presented at the International Agricultural Fair 2020 and initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty, the “L’Aventure du vivant, le Tour” truck has been crossing the regions of metropolitan France for 2 years to better know agricultural education. in all its diversity for as many people as possible.

Designed to be as close as possible to school students and the general public, this truck, notable for its brilliant color and its size, represents the richness and variety of training and living professions: more than 250 professions in sectors such as the environment, agriculture, agricultural equipment, food, personal services…

The truck will make 5 stops in the Bourgogne-France-Comté region from November 7 to 23, 2022
– From 7 to 8 November in Lons-le-Saunier, Juraparc
– From November 9 to 10 in Chalon-sur-Saône, Place Mathias
– From 14 to 16 November in Vesoul, Place Pierre Rénet
– From November 17 to 19 in Besançon, Parc Chamars
– From 21 to 23 November in Nevers, Place Carnot

What activities are offered by the L’Aventure du vivant truck?

– a driving simulator;
– virtual reality headset;
– an interactive screen for fun activities;
– tablets for information on training, orientation and possible occupations;
– 2 screens for the presentation of “L’Aventure du Vivant” videos and trade;
– a giant smartphone to access the device’s social networks;
– Meetings with trainers, professionals, young high school students in agricultural education;
– Four moderators (from agricultural education) will take turns answering the questions of the visitors (school students and the general public) and will present to them the variety of earth, nature, plant, forest and wood crafts in which agricultural education is formed.

While parked, the truck will accommodate:

School children
– Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 am to 12:30 pm and from 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
General public, families and guidance counselors
– Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at the end of the day from 17:00.
– Wednesday and Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm.

Communication campaign “Adventure of Life”

To raise awareness of agricultural education in all its diversity, the ministry responsible for agriculture has launched a digital communication campaign targeting middle and high school students and the general public since 2019.

Under the banner “L’Aventure du vivant”, the diversity of training is emphasized and opportunities for living professions are promoted through podcasts, partnerships and by the young people themselves in agricultural education. In addition to an increasingly rich program in communication channels appreciated by young people, L’Aventure du Vivant takes the form of a mobile unit, consisting of an 18-meter orange truck that offers 2 separate spaces with a capacity of 25 people each one. At the beginning of September, there were 68 stages across France and more than 59,000 visitors, including 20,000 students!


Agricultural education is the second largest educational system in France, comprising more than 800 institutions (public and private) present throughout the territory and welcoming around 156,000 pupils and students, 44% girls and 56% boys, 57,000 apprentices (from CAP level to masters or engineer level).

It also hosts 16,000 students or apprentices training in the professions of agricultural engineer, veterinarian or landscape designer and has 17 agricultural higher education institutions. More than 200 professions with a job at stake, in exciting sectors such as the environment, agriculture, agricultural equipment, food, personal services… But also more than 150 general, technological and vocational training courses for professions, in contact with others and with nature.
