Available on the new Dnizn platform of the Web3 marketplace, Umbro releases ownable digital collections
LONDON, 29 October 2022–(BUSINESSWIRE)–In collaboration with the customer and fan engagement technology company Equilibrium, Umbro enters the web3 with the launch of the global sports brand’s first digital collections.
Web3 Experience supports the latest launch of ” Nations Collection by Umbro” for which the design team drew on Umbro’s archives to remix ten of the most iconic international kit designs to create a unique fusion of football, fan base and textiles.
Isolating and re-imagining the iconic colours, patterns and geometrics of all the fan favourites, the Umbro team have designed standalone collections for England and Brazil, while creating fusion jerseys taking inspiration from classics from the French, German, Mexican catalogs , Spaniards and Americans.
Digital collections will be available on Equitbl’s new web3 marketplace, “Dnizn” (dnizn.com). Developed with user experience as a top priority, Dnizn makes it easy to purchase digital collections with a debit or credit card.
Storage of digital collections is also simplified in Dnizn: the Marketplace securely stores consumer assets, without the need for a non-custodial third-party wallet. A secondary market will launch in early 2023, where consumers can sell or trade their digital collections and supplement their collections.

Umbro’s arrival on Web3 is embodied by the futuristic and very fashionable character, “UmbroID” (“Umbro” + “Droid”). Sporting national emblems, UmbroID is a digital manifestation of football fans. It exists in a fantasy world inspired by another planet and a dawn desert setting. UmbroID sets the tone for future potential and provides the perfect environment for the nations’ living symbols to take center stage.
Enabling the convergence of services, entertainment, gamification and community will engage and reward consumers with physical and digital gifts through contests and quizzes.
